Gallery of Digital Deception

Every scam leaves artifacts. Explore curated reconstructions of phishing, impersonation, urgency, and digital fraud, or bring a suspicious message into the examination room and inspect its observable evidence.

The Collection

8 curated exhibits

Public exhibits are reconstructed demonstrations based on documented scam patterns. Private visitor analyses are never automatically added to the collection.

Bring in an unknown artifact.

Paste text, upload a screenshot, or paste a screenshot directly with Ctrl+V. OCR runs in the browser and extracted text stays editable so you can correct it before analysis.

  1. 01Submit only the suspicious message or screenshot you want to inspect.
  2. 02Review OCR text before analysis. OCR errors can change interpretation.
  3. 03Read the evidence and uncertainty, not just the ML signal.
  4. 04Visitor analyses are not automatically published to the museum collection.

0 / 5000

Analysis runs on the text you submit. Do not paste passwords, OTPs, or secrets that are still valid.

The museum does not ask the model to be an oracle.

01 / ML SIGNAL

Statistical risk is only one clue.

The frozen v0.5 classifier contributes a WEAK, ELEVATED, or STRONG text-risk signal. The UI does not present it as a calibrated probability of malicious intent.

02 / EVIDENCE

Artifacts stay observable.

Requests, threats, urgency, suspicious URLs, impersonation cues, and other behaviors are cataloged separately from the ML score.

03 / CONTEXT

Protective language matters.

Warnings such as “never share your OTP” can counter superficial keyword matches when stronger malicious requests are absent.

04 / UNCERTAINTY

Ambiguity is an allowed result.

When a message does not contain enough evidence, Scam Museum can return Insufficient Evidence instead of forcing a binary accusation.

A museum for recognizing patterns, not naming villains.

ARCHIVE

Curated public exhibits

The collection uses reconstructed demonstrations inspired by documented scam patterns. It is intentionally separated from private visitor analysis.

PRIVACY

No automatic public display

A message examined in the private room is not automatically added to the gallery. That avoids exposing personal conversations or publishing a false-positive classification.

PURPOSE

Recognition over certainty

The museum teaches visitors to recognize observable manipulation techniques and verify suspicious interactions independently.

PROJECT

Every scam leaves artifacts.

Scam Museum turns the metaphor into the information architecture: collection, exhibits, accession records, an examination room, and curatorial notes.
